Adriana McDonald is an alt-rock singer/songwriter and frontwoman of the Florida-based band Shy Blossom, which evolved from her solo project in early 2024. What started with Adriana writing and performing songs on acoustic guitar quickly expanded into a four-piece that’s making waves in Southwest Florida’s indie scene. With Adriana leading on vocals and guitar, Shy Blossom delivers emotionally resonant, guitar-driven tracks—first showcased on their debut album Bloom, featuring David Abbruzzese, and later on their Stardust EP. A major milestone came on March 13, 2025, when Shy Blossom opened for ’90s rock band Sister Hazel at The Ranch Concert Hall in Fort Myers—an achievement that spotlighted Adriana’s soulful performance and the band’s rising profile. In just a year, Adriana McDonald has transitioned from solo songwriter to the dynamic leader of a full band, gaining recognition for heartfelt lyrics and powerful live shows, yet all of her music still begins with her creative vision and an acoustic guitar.
