Chris “(@SweetNurmusic)” Nurthen is a Singer/Songwriter based out of Memphis, TN. His Americana style of music explores the joy found in spirituality and the beautiful struggle of life. His music has been recognized and featured by Americana Highways(@americanahighways), Ditty TV(@DittyTV), and the Nashville Songwriters Association Int’l (@nashvillesongwritersassociationinternational NSAI). Chris is a graduate of the US Naval Academy, and served active duty as an officer at sea, before pursuing his career as a singer/songwriter. He will be attending Belmont in the Fall of 2024 for a degree in Music Business.
