Carter Smith
A 24-year-old native of Fort Myers, Florida, Carter is a graduate of Canterbury High School. He helped lead the baseball team to a 31-1 record and the Class 3A State Championship in 2016. After high school, Carter continued his baseball career at Florida State University, where he played in the College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska in 2019. Upon graduation from Florida State, Carter decided to move to Nashville to pursue a music career while also using his remaining NCAA baseball eligibility at Lipscomb University. Carter now resides in Nashville, where he has worked with a number of successful singer/songwriters. He has played venues such as Tootsies, Tin Roof, The Listening Room, and many more venues in Nashville and Florida. Recently, Carter has been involved with Chill Cowboy Country Club, which is a Country music NFT company created by Brian Kelley of Florida Georgia Line that includes artists such as Chase Rice, Danielle Bradbery, Tyler Braden, Breland, and many more established artists.

While at FSU, Carter released his debut single “Paradise” that was written with Joe Noto. Soon after, Carter wrote “Song About You” with rising Country star, Jordan Rowe. “Like You Should Be Loved” was written with very notable songwriter, Matt Gorman, who was seen on the most recent season of American Idol with his girlfriend, Kaylin Roberson. In August 2022, Carter released his debut EP “God Made Beer,” which was his first release as a full-time artist out of college. All of his music was recorded with Grady Saxman at Saxman Studios. Being the Florida boy that he is, some like to call Carter the “Tropical Cowboy.” Some of his musical influences include Morgan Wallen, Brian Kelley, Kenny Chesney and George Strait.
