Rik Ferrell
Pacifico Rik Ferrell originally hails from the historic port of Annapolis, Maryland. “They say Annapolis is a drinking town with a sailing problem, and I can confirm that,” says Rik. “Summers were all boats, bottles, and bonfires on the Chesapeake, and my first guitar, a much-abused Yamaha acoustic (that I still own), was there for most all of it.”

Rik’s Cuban-born father gave him his love of Caribbean groove and Latin Jazz early on, which he combines with a passion for Outlaw Country & classic Southern Rock to create a unique sound that’s been dubbed ‘Beach Music for Drunk Girls to Dance To’. This fresh, addictive style was on full display with alt-Country rockers, the Roadhouse Clams, and fueled the fan-favorite singles “Sippin' On a Sunset” and "Drop the Hammer (& Raise Some Hell)."

Rik's songwriting and recognition have reached greater heights with his new band, Rik Ferrell & the Borrowed Stars, and their 2021 debut release, Ugly Babies, saw the singles "The Belafonte Life," "Drunkie's Lament," and "Buy Me an Island" land on several year-end Best Of and Top 10 lists.

Rik currently calls Southwest Florida home, along with his wife, Heidi, and dog, Mika. Rick performs at beach bars, nightclubs, theaters, festivals, house concerts, corporate events, and more, across the Sunshine State, and up and down the Eastern Seaboard.
