Located in the heart of the Fort Myers River District, Florida Rep produces a wide variety of comedies, dramas, musicals, and new works. Florida Rep performs in two theater spaces, including the Historic Arcade Theatre, and reaches more than 97,000 audience members annually.

Founded in 1998, Florida Rep is a cultural hub in Southwest Florida that nurtures an ensemble of theatre artists from across the country. As an attraction, Florida Rep is an anchor in the Historic Fort Myers River River District that has helped to garner national attention for Southwest Florida.

Florida Rep also boasts a vibrant Education Department that reaches over 37,000 children in Southwest Florida each year. Florida Rep Education provides classes for youth arts-intensive camps, advanced conservatory programs for students, and a Theatre for Young Audiences tour that brings education theatre to grade schools all over the state of Florida.
