Jimmy Nichols is an internationally known producer, A-list session player, actor and touring musician. He has been playing professionally for over 50 years and has toured with or recorded with such illustrious names as Faith Hill, Elton John, Reba, Tim McGraw, Kenny Rogers, Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood, BJ Thomas, Gladys Knight and The Commodores, just to name a few.

He has appeared in several movies including Pure Country 2, and Hannah Montana, the Movie, has performed in hundreds of TV shows including Letterman, Leno, Conan, Martha Stewart and many others. With his unique piano style, and his ability to recall virtually any song by ear, he is also one of the more sought-after musical directors for many touring acts, with over 12 years with Reba and Faith Hill alone.

As the founder of Black River Music in Nashville, Jimmy and his wife of 30 years, Tonya, have also had the chance to develop new artists and break them into the music business.

They live in Nashville with their four weiner dogs.
